How does the Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung (ZÜP) work?
+

The Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung (ZÜP) is a statutory security check under § 7 Luftsicherheitsgesetz that's mandatory if you want to work in the security area of an airport.

We prepare the ZÜP application together with you and submit it to the competent aviation-security authority , everything we're allowed to handle for you, we handle.

You only need to give us the necessary info: personal data, previous addresses and jobs, a copy of your ID, and where applicable proof of stays abroad. We check it for completeness and handle any follow-up questions.

The authority reviews registers like police and criminal records and decides whether you're deemed reliable. If approved, the ZÜP is usually valid for 5 years.

Do I have to pay for the ZÜP?
+

No.

We cover the full cost of the ZÜP.

You don't pay anything out of pocket or upfront , we apply for the ZÜP for you and handle everything with the authority.
